These pages will be filled with ALL my amateur photos that I take on my travel around Croatia and in Croatian various cities. I also will be taking pictures of everything I love, like flowers and animals. Some photos are made with camera I sometimes borrow but mostly is my phone. I never took any photography class so don’t be too harsh, I’m trying 🙂
Please, enjoy and follow.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog! I appreciate it very much. 🙂

Thank you for liking one of my post. I’m sorry I didn’t come and visit your blog sooner, but I’m really busy these days and on top of everything, I’ve decided to take part to a 5 fays blog challenge (not the best idea when you are busy); I’ve been to croatia for 3 weeks, and I really enjoyed the place. I look forward seeing your pictures of this beautiful country 🙂 Happy Easter ! Gin

Dear Gretavu, thanks for visiting my blog and your like on ‘New pictures added in South Korea’. Croatia has definitely beautiful landscapes, towns and cities …In younger years I had the opportunity of cycling through Istria, which was fantastic… the landscape, the people the food!

Hi Gretavu! Thanks for stopping by – hope you enjoyed reading my post! Do stay tuned as i’ll be posting a series of travelogues on my recent travels in New Zealand!
You’ve got some amazing photographs on your blog! I’d love to visit Europe some day, especially France and Germany! Have you traveled to Asia before?

Thank you! IEurope is much bigger than France and Germany, and it’s especially beautiful on Mediterranean than any other place. I’ve been to S. Korea but I will go to China in the future 🙂

Hi Gretavu – liked your image ‘rain’ but just a suggestion – if you straightened the tilted sea line so that it isn’t slanting unnaturally – you would have a much better, atmospheric image. Hope this helps – Goatshiteambulance.

Hi there, thanks a lot for liking my Budapest photos post. I’ve followed your blog as I love your photos, very impressive for just a phone. I’m heading off next week on a big four week trip round Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia and Bulgaria so will be having a look on here for places to visit.

Thank you for following me! I’m definitely following you because we are traveling the same places! Hehe I’m so happy to hear about your big four week trip! If you have some questions please ask me (I don’t know Bulgaria so well) but I live across all these countries in last 2 years so I know thing or two. 😄

Thanks a lot for following me back :-). Hopefully I’ll do the Balkans justice in my posts. Do you have recommendations of places to go and things to do in Croatia and Serbia? I haven’t really done much research yet so any suggestions would be great. Which was your favourite to live in?
LikeLiked by 1 person
In Croatia there are places you must see; Rovinj, Pula, Trogir, Zadar, Split, Dubrovnik. Other places along the way are nice too. In Serbia is only Beograd to see, honestly. I’m in Zagreb now, for now. 😄

Thanks for the advice! I think I have about 10 days to do Croatia and Serbia so I should be able to see loads of places. Haha is there nothing else really worth visiting in Serbia? Awesome, I’ll be in Zagreb hopefully around the 20th of August.

Nothing comes to my mind. Explore yourself a bit, maybe you’ll find something. I love Belgrade, it’s gorgeous and big compared to other cities of Balkan.

And I almost forgot; Plitvice lakes and national park Krka in Croatia.

Yes I was going to go to the Plitvice lakes. My sister went there last year and said it was beautiful. Have you got any travel plans coming up?

I’m always traveling because of my work. I just came from Budapest. But I don’t have time for always writing the blog. I write only 2-3 times a month.

Ah okay, what do you work as? I’ve just finished university so hopefully I will have more time now, I didn’t really blog much this year unfortunately. I am very keen to explore Belgrade, it looks beautiful.
LikeLiked by 1 person
I work in tourism. Belgrade has that european feeling but it’s nothing spectacular and so much to explore. Croatia, Bosnia and Serbia might me Balkan but there is a lot of difference between. In everything. People think after they see Croatia it will continue to be like that in Bosnia and Serbia. And it’s definitely not like it.

Are there still big divisions because of the war or is it more of a positive cultural diversity? I’ve recently really gotten into the history of the Balkans so will be very interested in seeing how they are different (and similar).
LikeLiked by 1 person
It’s different in standard and religion for example. It’s very different to read about it (especially in English, nothing interesting is translated) then when you live here or you grew up here. Since you are a foreigner at least you will not have any problem related to Balkan since you are not Croatian, Serbian or Bosnian. So you will not see (or be able to hear) 80% of things. That’s good at least!
LikeLiked by 1 person
That’s really interesting that nothing about it really gets translated into English. Whilst it is obviously an extremely sensitive issue I would like to read more about it and the current political situation there so I’ll do some reading up whilst I’m out there.
LikeLiked by 1 person
Well, you can’t translate it to English because it’s about mentality and so much history from every angle that it’s impossible to cover all. So many sides and guilt that not everyone wants to say it in their own language and God forbid in English. It’s complicated for people looking from outside. Oh, now that I think off it’s better that people from outside don’t speak any Balkan language! You don’t need that burden! 😁
LikeLiked by 1 person
Okay it sounds like a good thing that I can’t speak any of the Balkan languages! Less language skills make my life easier :-).
LikeLiked by 1 person
Hehe!! In this case yes! Less problems for you so you can just be a relaxed tourist 😄
LikeLiked by 1 person
Haha that sounds like a much better plan! I’m very much okay with being a relaxed tourist on this trip.

Thank you so much! I only have iphone too! I borrowed a camera for 3 months to decide if I want to buy one for myself. I don’t! Too much money and always thinking “where’s my camera?!” ! I rather just have my iPhone 😁 It doesn’t matter really as long as you have a fabulous scenery to take a picture of. I can’t wait to see pictures and impressions from your travels! Save travels to you too! 😄

Absolutely! Instead of enjoying the moment and everything around you, you are always looking for a perfect angle and lighting. If it was my job – I would say ok. But it’s not, it should be fun, just like with a phone 😁😄
